The Green Corn Ceremony

When: Sat., Sept. 14, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 2019

The Alnôbaiwi Abenakis invite the public to celebrate the first corn harvest, with singing, dancing and drumming ceremonies, and tours of an 1850s wigwam, shade lean-to and cooking fireplaces. A short lecture at 1 p.m. explicates the history and culture of this ceremony.

Price: regular admission, $6-10; free for children under age 5.
